Trips & Residentials

Educational trips and residentials provide safe opportunities for children to learn outside the classroom, develop important life skills, and are an important part of a child's learning experience. These experiences are designed to complement the curriculum and enhance the children's learning in a fun and engaging way.

We understand the importance of caregivers and parental involvement in our trips and residentials, so we provide detailed information about each trip, including the itinerary, activities, and safety measures in place.

Local visits

Residentials

  • Thames Young Mariners: Year 4 visits a 200-acre public open space that is a local nature reserve where pupils build rafts, paddle board, and learn how to light a fire amongst many other skills
  • Year 5 visits Llangorse in South Wales for five days in the summer term. Pupils engage in a number of activities including water sports, bouldering, caving and navigating a high ropes course. They also develop geography skills such as map reading
  • Year 6 visits Normandy in the summer term to experience the French culture and food and to practise their French. During the trip, pupils try their hands at bread making, visit markets, taste a myriad of French produce, explore the history in local museums and have fun on the beach!
